Understand published Tapirscan packages and the scanner builds used by the interactive demo.
Published packages
These guides describe the current release. Check npm and PyPI for available releases and use the tagged guide for your installed version. Package releases and website deployments are separate operations.
Current demo preview
The demo’s standard readers run the latest published npm release, with earlier releases under More scanners. The -next readers and the Turbo comparisons run the repository’s current build, which can be newer than any published package.
Version identity matters
Do not assume the current build is already available from npm or PyPI. Use release tags for released API documentation. For reproducible comparisons, record the package version or git commit, active formats, effort mode, image transformations and device.
